We are promoting lead-free conversion, and our products are compliant with European RoHS directive. 
　
Currently, the movement towards lead-free regulation to protect the environment is spreading worldwide.Renesas Technology, Corp. has been swiftly working on the switchover to lead-free products to respond to this movement. Fortunately, we can meet all the need of lead-free products at the moment. (*1)
Renesas lead-free products are thus complied with European RoHS Directive. And also, they have enough heat-resistance in being mounted by using a Sn-Ag-Cu solder or similar lead-free solder with high melting point. (*2)
 
　
Note: (*1) Products to which the RoHS Directive do not apply are excluded.
(*2) Reflow heat-resistance of surface-mount type packages is basically 260℃ peak temperature at package surface. Some large packages may be 245℃ as peak temperature. However, even in these packages, terminals can resist heat of 260℃ and there is no problem in mounting by lead-free solder.
